My mother (Saint Shirley) bakes one of these cakes every week. It is her therapy. It is like biting into a piece of my childhood. Come on over to Seaver Ave. and have a slice.
This buttermilk chocolate cake is insanely rich, moist, creamy and did I mention it is even more delectable with a glass of Merlot?
