10 Things That Effing Electrify Me

1.    Lush Lemon Tea Cakes.  I made these semi-homemade cakes for a recent shower & the chicks went goo-goo-gaa-gaa for them.  Seriously.

6.  WILD  by Cheryl Strayed will transform your life, make you think.  I haven’t read something this meaningful and resonating  in several years.

8.   Billy Bob Thornton really turns my crank.

    What electrifies me? Immediately finding the perfect words for a poem so it just flows out of me, once. Newborn calves and how they get up and walk within minutes! Alpha Hubby. God. You.

    The Lemon Cakes look luscious… and those 6 dollar boots? YES!! My daughter read Wonder last year in fifth grade and she talked about it incessantly! I must read it.

    I love that I can come here and always expect to be hit- in some way… in the heart.

    I effing love that its Friday today, and that my office all share a meal of sushi together.     beautiful blog. i also love reading great books. i need to get into one again. i read the count of monte cristo in the spring and haven’t read anything since. i do like lemon cookies, and chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter cookies. i love playing with my kid at the end of the day. i enjoy writing a good story and reading one too. i’ve been reading a business book and it’s very interesting but not my passion, you know. having a line of money electrifies me these days. finishing a multi-year project is electrifying me these days. that’s my skid row book. getting a full night’s sleep is electrically amazing and nourishing.

    Well, I love animals; a purring cat, giving a pooch a good belly rub,
    Cooking/ baking,
    dance performances, River Dance in particular,
    crafts, creating things with my hands then looking at my art and I drink in what Abba gave me as a gift.
    Writing; I’m putting out a second edition of a published book.
    A good deal at a thrift store. Wow I dig the most recent pair of Levis I bought.
    Hugs from children. Really, I feel warm electricity go through me.
    A moving emotional video. Some have been on this blog.

    Hearing about random acts of kindness.
    Chilling in front of my goldfish aquarium while listening to instrumental music.

    Passionate writers. There is this gal who has a blog (my and I love the way she verbalizes herself.
