I am so very sorry for your loss. I needed to read this this morning and I thank you for sharing. I can relate to all of your points, having just lost my son. I am still early in the journey, but I cannot even imagine how I will go on. Much love and many prayers to you.

Jenn, I don’t know you but I am lifting you up in prayer because what you are dealing with really is unfathomable. My heart hurts for you and I pray God helps you through this to where you can at least breath again.

    Dear Kim,

To be honest, the expression, “to be honest”, is one of my pet peeves. I’m sure you’re always honest! 🙂

Anyway, enough of my crap, I shall head over. I’m good like that! 🙂

    Hugs and hope,

    Good Morning Kim,

First, I would like to commend you for such a loving and inspiring testimonial in memory and in honor of your sister, Kay.

Your blog helps me to get through each day in more ways than one. On December 14, 2013, my son died. Also, I have dealt with domestic abuse for years, being in a violent marriage for 10 years and then another abusive relationship since my divorce.

I struggle each day with so many different thoughts, feelings and emotions. Your
    blog helps me tremendously!

In a few days, June 26 to be exact, I will celebrate my sons 23rd birthday. Although I will celebrate without him here with me, I will celebrate. Cole was a special gift to me from God. I miss him more than words can express. I know you understand.

I will continue to remember you in prayer Kim.

I am so VERY sorry about your precious son. My heart cries for you.
Losing the people you love HURTS Hurts hurts. I remember, I kept saying to my husband, “My heart hurts. My soul hurts. Why am I still here? Did Mike really kill Kay?”
God lives. This is the reason I’m still here.
I am praying for you this moment. Always.

Your list hurt to read. Not in a bad way, but in a way that I could understand your pain and relate in way. A big one that stuck out was that your truest friends will stick by you when you are at your craziest. That is so true and it is so refreshing. It makes the relationship so much stronger.

I send my well wishes to you. Thank you for sharing that with all of us. I do not know the pain of losing someone to a murder and at the same time I understand the pain of being at a loss for words, feeling out of control, and not knowing what the hell is going on with life.

    Have a good weekend.

Your words and honesty made me tear up, but dang are they powerful, a reminder to live every day to the fullest, to laugh, to smile, to dance and be you, but most importantly, to tell those you care about that you love them and you are proud of them. Beautiful post, thanks for sharing. x
