(Easy) Almost Better Than Sex Holiday Dessert

Poke Holes and Fill w/ c. milk & caramel

Sometimes Sins Can Be Delightful

• 1 box spice cake mix (can add more cinnamon, nutmeg!)
• 1 can (15 ounce ) pumpkin puree
• 1 can (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
• ½ bag of toffee bits (I use a whole bag!)
• ½ cup of caramel topping (I use a whole jar!)

• Preheat oven to 350
• Grease 9 X 13 baking pan
• In large bowl, mix the cake mix and pumpkin puree until well blended. Note: (you do not need to add the eggs or anything from the cake mix directions, only the pumpkin puree. The batter will be quite thick
• Pour into your baking dish
• Bake according to cake mix instructions
• Cool for 10 minutes after baking
• Use wooden spoons to poke holes all over cake (it’s fun)
• Pour condensed milk & caramel over the cake (make sure they go into your holes!
• Sprinkle bits of toffee over the top
• Refrigerate overnight.
• Serve chilled w/ whipped topping, vanilla ice, cream or whatev.

WARNING.    CAUTION.   DANGER:  This dessert will blow your freaking skirt off  &  cause your ass to grow 2 times larger. Just sayin’.  It was a HUGE hit with my family this Thanksgiving.

—Dear, Reader, what is your favorite holiday dessert?

I remember that dessert! Had it back when we could eat things like this – *sigh* – alas! Before Alpha Hubby, it really was almost better than sex. Now nothing compares (smile). Our favorite holiday dessert… hmmm. My mom made this killer pie for my brother since he hated pumpkin. It was called “No-Name Pie” – it was ooey, gooey and It is almost like a giant chocolate chip cookie flavored pecan type pie. Who knows; all I know is that is just SO rich you can only eat a sliver!

My husband would probably fall over if I actually made this amazing treat. I always use gluten free flour and try to hide wheat germ or flax meal in our treats. But if I actually just followed this recipe? His world would be rocked. This might have to be his Xmas gift.

Yummo. A moment on the lips – a lifetime on the hips.
My favourite holiday desert is fruit salad. I make it every Christmas (rude people say I make it the bath to get the quanitites I need). We are in summer here – so mangoes, berries, stone fruit, lychees, dragon fruit, cherries – and no apple or orange. Bliss.
As always I wept. But you knew that.

ANYTHING with eagle brand condensed milk is a contender for sex!

One of my fave desserts is Cherry Cream Cheese Pie. It’s a cold pie in a graham cracker crust, a creamy cream cheese filling that includes condensed milk, vanilla and lemn juice. Topped with cherries. OMG. I have a lifetime of hip hugging curvy love handles just from eating this holiday dessert every year — including this T-giving. Enjoy what’s left of the weekend and any leftovers of your sinfully decadent dessert. I think there is one slice of cherry cream cheese pie in the fridge that my lips and hips must have!

That recipe looks absolutely delicious — I think I can feel my butt growing just by reading the ingredients, haha!

When it comes to Thanksgiving desserts, I’m a traditionalist. I love pumpkin pie! But for Christmas, my mom makes these scrumptious fruit cake-y cookies laced with brandy, and they’re awesome! My aunt makes fig cookies, Domer makes fudge — ah, the list goes on and on. Now, I’ve got to hit the treadmill, doggone it!!

Dear Kim, this looks like one decadent dessert – looking at the list of the lovely ingredients, I can understand why it was such a huge hit at your family´s Thanksgiving!
Our favorite holiday traets are cookies, more cookies and even more traditional and not so traditional Christmassy cookies and the so-called “burnt sugar almonds” – they are undeniably addictive!

Hugs and kisses from afar – hope you and your wonderful family spend a fabulousThanksgiving together! I am very thankful that we could “meet” through our blogs…Thank you for all that you do and for being who you are!!!

Favorite holiday dessert? I have renewed love for Aunt Alma’s Date Cake (a family recipe), which only makes an appearance at Thanksgiving. That may change, because I learned this year that it takes one minor switch to render it vegan. Who knew? 😀
