Did feel sorry for Debra Winger and Shirley Maclane having to go up against each other for the Oscar though! And there can only be one winner! I love that song, ‘You’re a Good Girl’ too. The guy was in Australia promoting it and he sang it on one of our shows, ‘The Voice’ and he was the highlight of the evening – so original, so sexy (except for all the sweat!) xx

July 20, 2013 at 3:08 pmOkay, really? The cookies again? You are making my mouth water. I know there was so much more to your post, but I’m fixated on those damn cookies. (Maybe because I can’t eat chocolate…an MS diet I’m on: *($&^*(&^*^&!)
The purpose of my life? Ummmm, to make people laugh? It’s something that brings me great happiness. But that sounds awfully, I don’t know, self-serving. Although it’s win-win, right? I mean, it makes me feel good and, I assume if the other person is laughing, he or she feels good. So…maybe not *so* bad as a purpose/semi-purpose. Also: I’d like to write a book that some lonely, geeky kid will read and love and make him/her want to read more and more and more. Books, craptastic 80s pop music, and my dog were my best friends through some lonely, geeky years. I’d like to reach THAT kid.

I can tell you a lot of kiddos movie that I watched more than 5 times (with my kids of course), like toy story (1,2,3), Cars, The princess collection, etc! It’ll be lucky that I don’t watch the same one 5 times all in one day! haha….

July 26, 2013 at 11:05 amI remember when I was in college I read Sylvia Plath & loved her stuff. BUT. Honestly? My thought was also that she didn’t have the guts to live and fight for life. You dealt with horrendous unbelievably terrible horror and pain, and while we almost lost you, you had the strength inside, the guts, to fight your way out and live, facing life without your hero. YOU are my hero, my inspiration, my favorite picture in life, my favorite song, and you fed me amazing chocolate chip cookies. How can I not love you?

Guess who’s coming to dinner? Pamela Hutchins! Her book tour leads her right by my house so she’s stopping by to sleep over & RELAX for a few hours before she has to leave again. How cool is that? July 26, 2013 at 6:19 pmThe purpose of my life is my kids. I was in a violent, unhealthy marriage and my ex isn’t in his kids’ life. Me and my kids went through Hell with him, then I was put through it with the court system (trying to get child support). I believe God has given me these experiences to make things better for women who don’t have a large family helping them out like I do. It can be such an unfair situation all the way around. The only two movies I have watched many times are Goodfellas and Coyote Ugly!

I look so forward to holding your book (signed of course) in my hot little hands one day.
I haven’t quite figured out the purpose of my life yet, though I suspect it has much to do with my fabulous children who I still want to gobble up I’m so in love with them even though they’re terrible teenagers. (Actually most of the time they’re wonderful teenagers.)
And too many more-than-5X-movies to list – but among my favorites are “Love Actually” and “The Princess Bride.”
