—I love this funky idea from One Of My Favorite Bloggers
so I shall steal it from her. Well, not really steal it, but incorporate
her format into my blog post today.
What I’d like my readers to do
is ask me a question.
Anything.
WhatEv.  Turns.   Your.  Crank.
If you know me, you already understand that nothing much is
off limits.
I mean, what do I have to
hide? Seriously.
I shall answer your question on
my next blog post & link up your site.
If you can’t think of
anything, here are some thoughts.
You can ask about my mentor & penpal, Mercy Adhiambo (who just graduated from college in Kenya.)Â I love love love her.
You can ask about the The Kay Marie Sisto Memorial Walk To End Domesitc Violence
You can ask about writing, poetry, blogging, & how to stay sane from writing words.
You can ask about my baking therapy. Yes! This is shortbread.  Mr. Liverpool loved it! It turned out. Thank you, Jesus.
You can ask about Kay, my soul mate, best friend, & muse.
~~~Just ask.  I shall answer. Tell me about YOU, too, dears.
Love.   Love.   Love.  Xxx
I’ve always been curious about your writing. I know you’ve mentioned a book before. You have such a wide audience already. Are you working with a publisher? What are you writing off-the-blog?
Ciao Kim, like Emily, I am very interested in your writing. Tell us something–anything– about your writing process–such as, how much time do you spend every day writing, do you have a certain time scheduled for it, do you have to be sitting in a certain corner, do you really write with that ancient typewriter???, how far have you gotten on your book of poems? Sending you happy, creative vibes and wishing you much success xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Lovely post, Kim. I like how you invite us in, opening your heart and soul to us.
Did you happen by any chance to catch the verdict for Drew Peterson? I’m glad he got 60 years and I’m glad they changed the laws in Illinois just to help the state’s case against him. It worked. But my heart goes out to both the family of his third wife (for which he was sentenced) and his last wife, who has yet to be found. It is so heartbreaking.
I would really like to know how your book is coming along (Oh, i love your typewriter photos!) and when you expect to publish it.I just know it is going to be a huge hit.
I am awestruck by the The Kay Marie Sisto Memorial Walk To End Domestic Violence – this is such a powerful way to spread the message. Whose idea was it?
Mercy’s photos are always stunning. How did you connect with her?
When you blog, do you maintain an ideas book?
What is the one thing that would make you ecstatic, Kim, besides Kay?
What is your favorite dream that you would like to see come true?
If you could be any mythical creature in the world, which would you be? I know it seems an odd question but I believe true freedom of expression can be found in the imagination
Darling Kim, what an inspirational post, as always. Oh my, goodness, I really don’t know what to ask – I will probably think of something else after the fact – you know me, always a bit slow on the up take. I would love to sit with you over a week and chat and drink wine and eat scrumptious food and just be with each other so this asking you a question is a very good second best option.
First of all, I never cease to be jolted when I see a picture of Kay. She was so truly gorgeous…then again, it’s not that I’m surprised, it’s just that she’s breathtaking, but then again, hello! I’ve seen pictures of you, so shouldn’t be surprised at all.
Second of all, I love how you wrapped that ribbon around the cookies. It really makes a nice presentation.
And here is my question: where were you and what were you doing when you heard the news of Kay’s brutal death?
…I know nothing is really off-limits with you, but I question whether this one might be?
Tell me about communication bobbles between you & your penpal. There have to be word misunderstandings and different meanings sometimes that make you (or Mercy) giggle. For example, looking for a rubber to borrow in your co-workers desk is very different in the US from what it is in the UK.
