I think I am commenting in the wrong place, please forgive? I HAVE to comment, and as long as you find this Kim, that’s all that matters!

What I know now that I wouldn’t have known before my sweet husband passed.

(Pre)…if someone left cookies at my doorstep I would have gone nuts trying to figure out the name of who left them….

        (Post) Now, I don’t wonder who ~ I know who…..

        ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It was an Angel ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

It is sooooo true! That is how I felt that day when those cookies were sitting at our door ~ I can’t tell you how much it meant to me!

Knowing someone performed that action of love that allowed me to see, feel, hear, smell and celebrate that I was loved in that moment by an Angel ~ it lifted my soul ~ my husband was deeply grateful.

        As am I!!!

Oh, I am so happy to have seen you today!!!! I can’t wait!!!

Love in abundance to you ~

Purchase a Cherry Red Toaster – me, too! I look but never breakdown because I have a black one. I think I will give it away so I will have an excuse to get the cherry red one!!

This was an AWESOME list – awesome goals. You are already a kick azz writer so mark that half off (smile).

I had hair extensions. They are rocking cool and totally ruin your real hair. I enjoyed them while I could but hopefully they will come out with something better soon!!

I have many goals, too – lose the weight, get my body back – write kick azz books, no let me rephrase that – FINISH writing kick azz books – make a music CD of worship songs and old standards (40’s) – finish a painting – visit Ireland but not on a tour bus – stay in a hut over the water in Bali – and have a slumber party here with my bloggy friends – swimming, lounging, eating grilled steaks, laughing.

Fabulous post. You’ve done more than most. Keep on reaching, woman, because once you accomplish these, you’ll find more. Very cool about graduation and your sons watching you walk, this has to be a breathless moment. I think you and your fab five blogers should meet somewhere – New York or one of the many Spa hotels in Napa and have a girl’s night in. Would make for wonderful tales. I am singled threaded at the moment in terms of tasks, 1) for an Agent to pick me up (entire book is with one now, but it aint’ over until the fat lady sings, 2) publish date, and 3) finish the second book.

    Loved reading this one.. hugs.

I love this list. I hope you get to complete it very soon. I will make sure you get to tell Kay’s story at the Capitol. It can be arranged. Even in DC! I would love the slumber party thing, since I am a blogger, but I don’t do sleeping on the floor any more. And, by the way, I tried the Oreo Cookies with Oatmeal cookie dough on the outside. Amazing!! My grandchildren in Pennsylvania loved them. It was great to be able to do this while visiting with them. Thanks for the great recipe.

Now about wearing those Jimmy Choos in Rome–are you sure you don’t want to delete that goal????? Rome is almost all cobblestones, and you would catch those heels in between the cobbles and go flying!!! It is hard to walk there even in normal shoes :). I love that you worked on a cruise ship. We were to go to her house in NC and chill out, like a pj party and suck up her wisdom. Now, I’m stuck over here in this desert and ain’t meeting nobody. So, however you got that Brit, cool. I’m going to ask that you hang around us a good while and meet your sis in heaven at a ripe age, after you do all those other things on your list.

Wow, Kim…what a great response to a fantastic list. I love the idea of meeting your pen pal in Kenya. You know, I see so much positive stuff here – bravo. You are one remarkable sister!

Somehow I “lost” you. I thought I had subscribed, but when I checked just now…no sign of it. So I’ll start again.

You got to see Rudolph Nureyev perform? Wow! Impressive! I’m totally jealous! I too, want something I write to be published in the New Yorker! That would be the epitome of total awesomeness, for me! 🙂 My list is long and needs more things scratched off!

I watched Nureyev perform in Miami not long before he died of Aids. It was a thrill & we sat in the 5th row!

Write your own list. It was quite fun to do. <3

What an amazing list – and I am sooo impressed at how many you have crossed off already. Selfishly, I have to add – please don’t be in too much of a hurry to cross No 28 off your list. You would diminish many lives if you did.

    Hey Kim,

First on my to do list would be to get organized enough to create a to do list!

I might be suprised at what I’ve already done and probably horrified by what’s left to do…

    Love you lots!

I’ve read Lolita 2 times. The words are like butter melting.

But it is VERY naughty and the main character is a pediphile.

Yes. Nabrokov is a GENIUS to make us like this dude.

Anyhow, You’d be invited to the bash. Are you kidding? Xxx Love Love Love.

Oh, Kim, how I love your list! Alas, I would love to learn how to tango! And throw a coin in the Trevi fountain, buy a villa in Tuscany, make my own olive oil, feast on pommodori tomatoes drenched in my own olive oil, drink Chianti, kiss Javier Bardem, own a vintage pink typewriter, get my hair cut at Ouidad salon in New York City, visit NYC, and join you and the all the other lady bloggers in that summer party! Hugs for you, sweet lady! 🙂

I want to share chocolate (well, not necessarily share, but indulge simultaneously) with Anne Lamott. I love your list and your blog. Thanks for coming by, so I could discover your Inner Chick. It’s a fun and inspiring place.

      You are funny.
I have a feeling Anne does not drink, so she’d probably LOVE the chocolate. If you would share, that is.
