— Shhhhh, don’t tell anybody, but I’m the Queen of Semi -Homemade Baking.
For example, I buy peanut butter cookie mix & a bag of
chocolate kisses to create exquisite, delectable peanut butter blossoms.
My kids love ‘um!
I buy a boxed lemon
cake to mix up a quick batch of lemon cookies with velvety cream cheese
frosting.
“These are super, Kim, can I get the recipe?”
“U-um-um, are you kidding me sure, as soon
as I find it,” I say.
Please don’t judge me, I’m sooo envious of real bakers you food bloggies you.
Anyways, quite recently, I stumbled upon this sinfully wicked
recipe from a sweet blog, Two Little Birds called Easy
Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Yeah, you heard that right.
Just to make chocolate chip cookies a bit more calorific,
you just need to add an Oreo, baby.
**OREO STUFFED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES**
You’ll Need:
Your
favorite cookie-dough mix — plus the ingredients required per the mix’s recipe–1
Oreo for each cookie the mix will make. I made about 20. That’s it! I’m telling you the truth.
Yep, I truly made these lusheous little delectable Sins.
I brought some cookies for our school’s adorable Principal G.
And lovely Mrs. E….my All time favorite teacher whom makes me Laugh Laugh Laugh.
~~Dear Reader, do you share your baking / semi baking when you find a great recipe OR do you eat it all. by. yourself? What is one of your favorite “EASY” recipes you can share w/ me?

May 31, 2012 at 6:58 pmThis cookie is delicious, I savored it! I took a couple of bites, and then wrapped it up, put it into my bag to share it with my husband! After reading your blog, I remembered I had saved that delicious cookie to share. I ran over to my bag looking and looking for that delicious cookie. My son asks me what I am looking for so I tell him my friend Kim made the most delicious cookie and I brought it home to share. He answers with 4 words…….The dog ate it!!!! Really?!
So, pour yourself a tall glass of milk, and finish the entire cookie! Enjoy every last morsel and to hell with sharing with your husband! Love you Kim and thank you for sharing your delicious cookies with me!!!!

June 2, 2012 at 1:48 amI do the traditional baking thing…as in I worked in a bakery. Want an easy yummy? RWB Pie. Start to finish 12 minutes then pop it in the fridge (but it is just as good warm).
Buy pie crust. If you cannot find one already baked, buy the fridge kind and bake while topping gets done.
1 pint blueberries
1 pint raspberries
3/4 cup water
3 T cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1 t lemon juice
Mix one cup of berries, water. Simmer 3-4 minutes. Combine cornstarch and sugar and add to the berries/water. Add lemon juice. Cook until clear and thick.
Cover bottom of shell with berries. Cover with glaze. Chill.
Whip a cup of heavy cream for topping. Or use your fave prepared kind.
You can use any combination or any single berry. Rasp-, blue-, black-, straw-…berries rock.
If you will eat the whole pie in one sitting (think dinner party of four to six- max), you can cheat and make it in an Oreo shell. It will not be easy to serve the next morning because the berries sog the crust, but it is fabbo yum especially warm and drizzled in chocolate or with shaved chocolate on top….
LOVEloveLOVE,
Red.

Here you go. So easy, and so yummy, especially during the summer. Don’t have any quantities (sorry!) because I just kind of threw it together and it was a real hit.
Cut up fresh strawberries
Lemon pudding (I use the cook kind, not the instant)

In a bowl, layer the strawberries with the Angel Food cake, and the lemon pudding.
Let it sit overnight in the refrig.
Scoop and eat, preferably with lots of homemade whipped cream!
