~~~ When I find something I adore, I become addicted
quickly, immediately, impossibly.
I become ridiculously smitten with the pleasure of it, the fulfillment
of it.
Sort of  like savoring
a hot fudge sundae and never quite taking the last bite.
Or playing the same song over and over and over again–but never
getting enough.
Or reading and re-reading Evening or Lolita just because the
language flows like syrup thru your veins.
Yes.  I’ve been told I’m
a bit addictable and rather impossible.
I played  Nora Jones on Saturday mornings for
one.    strait.
year.
My son finally hid the CD from me.
After my Nora addiction,
it was Amy Winehouse,  then Adele.
For example, I muuust vacuum to  THIS SONG!!
I’m also addicted to easy, semi-made cookie recipes.
As if I need more  c  h  o  c o  l  a  t  e.
Anyhow,  here is my
newest, addictable, remarkable, unbelievable cookie recipe.
I’ve already made these stunning sins five times and Saint
Shirley has made them twice…. & passed the recipe onto all of her sisters.
I’m serious when I say, your ass will do the happy dance ~
bon appetit !
