Kim, you are a gift to so many women at this time in your life. You are moving and shaking the world with the power of your voice through what happened to Kay. It has definitely tuned me in to talking to my Little Totsy about violence against women. She hung around periodically as I painted Kay. You must know the warmth of Kay’s spirit was in the room as I tried to capture her. I have to also say hers was the most important portrait I’ve composed and I was humbled and honored to do so.

So much love, hugs and kisses to you.

That was so beautiful, Kim. Totsy’s tribute to Kay and her painting took my breath away. The video was a joy to watch…accompanied by one of my all time favorite songs. “My love…..there’s only you in my life….the only thing that’s right…..; My first love….you’re every breath that I take….you’re every step I make”

Oh, so wonderful. What a testimony of your love, Kim. Thank you for sharing this. I will cherish this memory forever. I am visualizing Kay smiling just like that!

I feel as though I am privvy to a very special moment and experience that transcends ordinary everyday life. A simple act of kindness can really move so many so deeply. And it couldn’t have happened to a sweeter, more deserving person than Kim.

    • ~~~~~ My heart overflows today. I adore and appreciate my gift from Sweet Tots….

& The sense of community is unexpected & beautiful.

I don’t know why I’m surprised by that.

PS. We can start a REVOLUTION to stop Domestic Violence. I really believe that.

  9. As I posted on Totsymae’s site – breathtaking and I’m speechless. It touched something deep inside me. I want to watch it again and again. It was peaceful and tear-inducing at the same time. As you looked into Kay’s eyes, all you saw was peace – which is what she has, now. Kim – thank you for sharing.

Kim, I am touched by Totsy’s loving tribute to Kay, you, and your family! What a selfless gesture! I watched her video in awe as I saw Kay’s portrait come to life with each brush stroke. And when I looked at the beautiful rendition of Kay’s lovely face I thought, oh my goodness! Indeed, our lovely Ms. Totsy has demonstrated not only her amazing talent, but also a generosity of spirit that we should all emulate. I can imagine Kay peeking over Totsy’s shoulder, smiling as her portrait took shape; smiling at the likeness. Not too long ago, you mentioned how hard it was to get through some days and it makes me smile to realize that it’s gestures like these that sustain you, cradle you, and show you just how much you’re loved, dear Kim.
