I was seriously already planning my response to those Fendi shoes well before I read that they weren’t yours. Then I got sad for you. Well, and honestly me too. Because I was going to beg and beg and beg and beg… and maybe cry, to borrow them. Those are shoes that you would cut your toes off to wear! Or at least I would. Is that wierd? Oh well….

I love love love love love Maya Angelou. I’m really glad that you have found something that helps you in tough times. Keep those things near to your heart. Sending many hugs your way.

Do you know I’ve never tried Nutella? I know, right? I must rectify that soon.

Those Fendi shoes are awesome! As is that tattoo. And those pants.

I keep seeing people marveling about the cupcake wine – I must see if I can get some, it does sound yummy! If I can’t, I’ll just have to figure out how I can make my own! 🙂

I have two black rescue cats who rule the household. Jazz n Jewel. We got Jewel first but thought she was lonely, so Jazz came to stay. He was originally called Jazzpurr which made me feel pukey so now he is Jazz. They teach each other things which is often a bit sad. Jazz worked out how to open the fridge and taught Jewel. So now we have a child proof latch on it. At your request I will put up a J n J post soon.

Loved your pants! Wish I would have thought of working on a cruise ship back in the day! Bartending at Bennigans just doesn´t have the same sense of adventure.

There is a Nutella-type product in Yurp called Nugatti Crunch….it is Nutella with peanut butter filled bugals crunched up in it…..FIND IT!!!!!

Upon your recommendation, I had my book club read Johnathon Livingston Seagull. Our discussion is Friday night, and I really look forward!

The link didn´t work for The Untold Story, but I will find it. I hope it too is a bookclub interest!

Kim, another funny list!! What I love about it is that you’re so unpredictable (read: wild), pairing odd things: eg Poetry and Pizza Cookie (that thing looks downright scary!!!)

Lolita is also at the top of my faves list–I’ve also read it multiple times. I’ve got the same great cover. Here’s a link to the 185 other covers of Lolita. In a recent survey 125 famous authors were asked to name their favorite literary works of the 19th and 20th century. Lolita was at the top of the list for 20th century, so I guess we’re in good company.

You make me want to sit and stare at this post all day. i LOVE those pants. The cookie pizza (is that legal????). Now – am about to make an announcement: We bought our very first jar of Nutella three days ago. My son keeps going into the kitchen for “something” and mysteriously yesterday, the jar is empty. Can you guess why? I can’t! 😉

I love your stack of books – Maya Angelou is someone to love! The shoes are sexy, although I never wear high-heeled shoes. Used to wear them, before 1997 😀 and my max was 4 inches. So you can imagine how ultra-confident that made me, taking me from 5’3″ to 5’7″ instantly! Now I stick with sports shoes most of the time, and strappy sandals.

You list could pretty much be my list, Kim! What a gorgeous line up! But the thing I covet most here is that tattoo. It is fantastic!

By the way – today’s my 15th wedding anniversary! 🙂 and your post just made it a lot better!

My eyes! My eyes! The poofy hair! The suntans! The (snicker) pants (altho you do rox them). I just need to know what perfume you were all wearing and I will be complete. You are truly glam queens. And I mean that in the nicest way.

We can all thank Pietro Ferrero of ITALY, thankyouverymuch, for inventing Nutella in 1940’s. I have been addicted since a young person. I had to seek help to rid myself of the addiction. Now I can only buy it if I am going to cook with it under the careful watch of someone who hates it (Alpha Hubby) then give the rest away to my son (unh huh, do you believe me? Do ya?). Otherwise, it is gone, baby, gone. A ravening beastie I becometh.

I’d never heard Norah Jones. I am now in love. Totally. I am using this song in my next post. I love these posts, they always give me something new to fall in love with!

In total surprise I found our local winery’s bistro sells the Cupcake wine. I purchased the pretty blue bottle. We will celebrate V-day tomorrow night so I will pull it out and pass judgement on it. I suspect it is going to be love at first taste. Sort of like the Umberto Fiore Moscato d’Asti was when I tasted it in a restuarant. Yummitty Yum!

I forgot to mention that I read Mercy’s… oh my gosh. Haunting writing. I am haunted.

Cookie pizza and Nutella…mmmm! Let’s see if I can come out of my sugar-trance long enough to think of something interesting to tell you….nope, sorry, it’s sugar heaven. 🙂

Wait! Except — I’ve been staring at your stack of books and there are so many titles I haven’t read all mixed in with some of my favorites. I’m going to write these down and start reading! (Thanks!)

I love that you have so much love in your heart! I’m sorry to say that I don’t love the shoes, tho. The only thing I would do is FALL, break my ankle AND a heel and then watch $800 go down the drain! I’d also probably spill nutella on them!
